Armenian opposition MP calls for military measures against Azerbaijan Revanchists seeking self-destruction

The Armenian government must take measures over ongoing protests by Azerbaijani eco-activists on the Shusha-Khankendi road, including military action, to protect its compatriots.

Artsvik Minasyan, Secretary of the parliamentary faction of the opposition bloc "Armenia", made the statement on December 14, Caliber.Az reports, quoting Armenian media.

"The main mission to enforce the provisions of the November 10 statement lies with Russian peacekeepers, but this does not mean that Armenia must take its hands off from it and step aside,” he noted.

"If necessary, we must declare war on Azerbaijan. What should we do?" he said.

The MP added that even if Armenia is unable to do so using its military potential, it must rely on the forces of its allies.
