Armenian PM informs Iranian president about talks with Aliyev
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has discussed a number of important issues on the bilateral and regional agenda in a phone conversation with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.
“In particular, the sides discussed the opening of regional communications, the beginning of the delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, as well as the prospects for normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," Caliber.Az reports, referring to the Armenian media.
They discussed the issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as issues related to the construction of the third Armenia-Iran power transmission line, the North-South highway and energy. The parties also confirmed the agreement on mutual visits, the report added.
The Armenian prime minister shared his impressions of the last trilateral meeting in Brussels with Raisi.
On May 22, a trilateral meeting was held in Brussels with the participation of the Armenian prime minister, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and European Council's President Charles Michel.
