Azerbaijan calls international community to condemn Armenia's mining policy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA) has called on the international community not to condemn Armenia's policy of mining the territories of Azerbaijan.

The ministry's statement came on the heels of a mine explosion that injured a beekeeper in the Kalbajar region on July 13.

“Today, as a result of the explosion of another mine laid by Armenia, a beekeeper was seriously injured in Kalbajar. Thus, the total number of people blown up by mines from the end of the Patriotic War [Second Karabakh War] in 2020 to the present has reached 303 people," the ministry wrote on Twitter, according to Caliber.Az.
