Ukraine commends Azerbaijan for continued humanitarian support
The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine has formally expressed its gratitude to Azerbaijan for its ongoing humanitarian assistance, following the latest aid package authorized by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Olena Kondratiuk, conveyed the message of appreciation via social media, Caliber.Az reports.

“We are grateful to Azerbaijan for continuous humanitarian support of Ukraine,” Kondratiuk posted.
To recall, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order “On the Allocation of Funds to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Providing Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine.”
The document states that $2 million (in manat equivalent) will be allocated from the presidential reserve fund, provided in the 2025 state budget, to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan for sending electrical equipment to Ukraine
