The first large-scale convoy of trucks from China has launched its journey along the Middle Corridor.

Mehman Mehdiyev, head of the press service of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company, reported that a convoy of 26 freight trailers was transported by the Azerbaijani ferry "Mercury-1" from the Port Kuryk (Kazakhstan) to the Port of Baku, Caliber.Az reports.

From there, it will proceed through Georgia and Türkiye to Europe.

Note that in March, three trucks from China traveled this route in a test mode, transporting 80 tons of cargo.
