Baku, Minsk step up economic ties ahead of major business forum
Baku and Minsk are deepening their economic ties as Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belarus Maharram Aliyev met with Mikhail Myatlikov, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to discuss the expansion of bilateral business cooperation.
The meeting focused on strengthening commercial partnerships across key sectors and preparing for a series of high-level business engagements, a post by Azerbaijani Embassy in Belarus on its official X account says, Caliber.Az reports.

"Within the framework of the meeting [the sides] discussed issues of strengthening business partnership in key sectors, worked out in detail the program of the upcoming visit by representatives of Belarusian companies to Azerbaijan, organisation of the upcoming business forum in Baku, B2B meetings with Azerbaijani colleagues, visits to industrial sites, [and] negotiations on joint projects," the embassy noted.
The dialogue signals a mutual commitment to boosting economic collaboration through targeted sectoral cooperation and direct engagement between the business communities of both countries. The planned business forum in Baku and associated B2B meetings aim to provide a platform for practical dialogue and joint initiatives, including potential industrial partnerships.
