Azerbaijan, UAE set sights on economic diversification in high-stakes talks PHOTO

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with a high-level delegation led by UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri in Baku to discuss enhancing economic ties between the two nations. 

The meeting underscored the strong and growing bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, which is grounded in mutual respect and friendship. The ministers also highlighted the successful collaboration between the two countries in various economic sectors, the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During the discussions, the two sides exchanged ideas on fostering investment opportunities in the transition towards a green economy, with a focus on sustainable development. The conversation also covered the expansion of industrial, business, trade, and tourism connections, as well as potential avenues for further cooperation aimed at diversifying the economies of both nations.
