Azerbaijan, Pakistan hold key talks to unlock economic cooperation potential
Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has held a video conference with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to discuss the implementation of the economic cooperation potential.
“During the video conference held with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, we expressed satisfaction with the successful partnership between our two countries. We discussed the implementation of the economic cooperation potential between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as the broader promotion of trade relations and mutual investments,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Jabbarov’s message on X.
Earlier, on April 26, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar had a phone talk and discussed the current status and future prospects of strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as regional security issues.
During the phone talk, they reviewed ongoing contacts between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, focusing on the implementation of agreements made during recent high-level visits. The ministers also covered cooperation in various sectors, including trade, economy, investment, transportation, energy security, and other areas of mutual interest.
