Azerbaijan defends its sovereignty in full compliance with international law Baku replies to UN rep

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk spoke about the current situation in the region and the commitment to protect the rights of ethnic minorities on September 26.

All steps taken by Azerbaijan to restore its territorial integrity and sovereignty, including anti-terrorism measures, were carried out in full accordance with the norms and principles of international law, Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada noted while commenting on Türk’s statements, Caliber.Az reports.
