Azerbaijan, Israel discuss military cooperation PHOTO/VIDEO

On October 3, Azerbaijan's Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with a delegation led by the Minister of Defense of Israel, Benjamin Gantz as part of the latter's visit to Azerbaijan.

Welcoming the guests, Minister Hasanov said the high level of partnership between the two countries plays a significant role not only in the development of the bilateral ties but also in ensuring security in the whole region, Caliber.Az informs, citing the Azerbaijani defence ministry's press service.

Minister Gantz, for his part, highlighted the importance of pushing forward with military cooperation and holding such meetings.

The meeting focuses primarily on the prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel in the military and military-technical spheres, the organization of working meetings at the level of military specialists of different qualifications, and other issues of mutual interest.
