Azerbaijan joins board of directors of OIC's cyber organization
An executive of Azerbaijan’s Special Communication and Information Security State Service (CERT.GOV.AZ) has been appointed a member of the Board of Directors for the Collaboration of Computer Emergency Response Team of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-CERT).
According to Report citing the center, this decision was made during the election of the board members along the 10th summit of the organization in Muscat.
As a result, the Chief Information Security Officer of Azerbaijan’s CERT, Tural Mammadov, has been appointed a member of the board for a two-year term.
The United Arab Emirates has been chosen as a destination for the next international conference of the OIC-CERT in 2023 after having received applications from multiple member countries.
