Azerbaijan, Jordan to ink agreement on economic cooperation
The Jordanian-Azerbaijani economic and investment forum will kick off on Sunday, during which the parties will sign an agreement on cooperation, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports referring to the Jordanian agency Petra.
"The sides will sign a memorandum of understanding to build a strategic partnership, discuss the launch of joint ventures and cooperation in small and medium-sized businesses," the agency said.
The statement issued by the Jordan Business Association (JBA) says the meeting aims to strengthen economic and investment relations between the two countries and establish links between the business communities of Jordan and Azerbaijan in various fields, including education, medicine, tourism, agriculture, etc.
Representatives of the private sector of Azerbaijan will be introduced to the investment potential of Jordan at the forum.
