The shared political will of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Pakistan continues to drive the ongoing efforts to translate this cooperation into tangible results.
The meeting highlighted the importance of the recent visit by Pakistan’s Prime Minister to Azerbaijan, which served as a catalyst for renewed focus on key investment projects. This momentum has been maintained through consistent engagement between authorities of both countries, particularly via platforms like the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), emphasizing Government-to-Government (G2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) collaborations.
Both sides discussed the acceleration of priority projects, particularly in infrastructure, energy, and information technology, with a specific focus on emerging opportunities in green energy. The aim is to foster joint ventures and strategic investments in these sectors.
Additionally, Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce has prepared a comprehensive roadmap aimed at boosting bilateral trade and diversifying cooperation. The roadmap includes practical steps to create a more favorable business environment for companies and investors from both nations.
Looking ahead, several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the upcoming visit of Azerbaijan’s President to Pakistan. This visit is seen as a key milestone in advancing bilateral cooperation and furthering the shared vision for economic growth.
Both nations reaffirmed their resolve to work closely together, unlocking the full potential of their relationship and promoting sustainable economic growth for the benefit of both peoples.
