Azerbaijan, Philippines plan to discuss easing visa regime by year-end
By the end of this year, Azerbaijan and the Philippines will discuss the possibility of easing visa requirements, Henry J. Bensurto, the non-resident Ambassador of the Philippines to Azerbaijan, told local media.
The diplomat noted that bilateral relations were established relatively recently, are currently at a good level, and that he is doing everything possible to develop and strengthen them, Caliber.Az reports.
“Facilitating visa exchanges between our countries would allow not only diplomats but also ordinary citizens to travel more easily. This issue is part of ongoing negotiations with the Azerbaijani government. In this regard, we have planned bilateral consultations. I hope that during the discussions, a decision will be made to simplify the visa process between Azerbaijan and the Philippines,” Bensurto stated.
