Azerbaijan's FM calls for swift end to Russia-Ukraine war

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, has called for the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine to end as soon as possible, stressing that the conflict should be resolved through diplomatic means.

Speaking during an expanded-format meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv, Bayramov said the Russia-Ukraine war should be settled "in strict accordance with the norms and principles of international law," according to local media.

During the talks, the Azerbaijani side reiterated its consistent support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders.
