Azerbaijan’s foreign minister sits for interview with well-known Turkish media outlets PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is on a working visit to Türkiye, gave an interview to leading Turkish media outlets on August 9.
Bayramov answered the questions of TRT World, Hurriyet, Anadolu, Haber Global and Daily Sabah correspondents over ensuring peace and tranquillity in the region at the post-conflict stage, Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations mediated by the European Union, the latest provocations of Armenia against Azerbaijan, violations of trilateral statements by Armenia and its failure to fulfil its commitments, as well as the process of normalising Turkish-Armenian relations, work on the Zangazur corridor, issues arising from the Shusha Declaration, attacks by radical religious groups on the Azerbaijani embassy in London, Report informs citing Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.
The minister informed the media representatives about the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye and the numerous areas of cooperation, the views and steps taken by Azerbaijan to ensure peace, security, and development in the region, the restoration and reconstruction work carried out by Azerbaijan, the restoration of transport and communication routes, as well as mine danger.
