Azerbaijan's income from Shah Deniz field increases several times

In January-June of 2023, the income of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) from the Shah Deniz gas condensate field (sale of gas and condensate) amounted to over $1 billion, which is 58 per cent more year-on-year.

SOFAZ told APA that in January-June last year, the fund's income from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field amounted to $633.256 million.

The fund's income from the sale of condensate from the Shah Deniz field (01/01/2023-07/01/2023) amounted to $210.851 million, i.e. decreased by 4.1 per cent. SOFAZ's income from the sale of condensate in the first half of 2022 amounted to $219.357 million.
