Azerbaijan Central Bank explores reserve strategy at Tbilisi roundtable PHOTO

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) participated in a roundtable bringing together heads and senior representatives of regional central banks in Tbilisi.

Azerbaijan was represented at the event by CBA Deputy Chairman Ali Ahmadov, who took part in panel discussions on key issues shaping the region’s financial sector, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Ahmadov was among the key speakers at the session dedicated to asset and reserve management.

Participants exchanged views on new approaches to asset diversification and strategic allocation, as well as liquidity and risk management. They also discussed the importance of these practices for the effective management of central bank reserves across the region.

The roundtable was organized by the National Bank of Georgia and J.P. Morgan, bringing together central bank officials from Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia and other regional countries.
