Azerbaijan's military top brass visits one of communications units of Azerbaijani Army

The Azerbaijani Army continues to implement comprehensive measures on the all-out provision of units and improvement of service organisation of troops.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence reports First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel-General Kerim Veliyev and Deputy Minister of Defence - Director General Agil Gurbanov visited one of the military units subordinate to the Main Directorate of Communications, Information Technologies and Cybersecurity of the Ministry of Defence on November 25.

The senior staff of the Defence Ministry conducted a tour of the storage facilities on the territory of the military unit.

Samples of modern communication means and equipment envisaged for the organisation of sustainable communication in the Azerbaijani Army and covert control of troops were presented. Information was provided on the latest technological equipment for continuous monitoring and control of the ICT environment of the Azerbaijani Army.

The Chief of General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army gave relevant instructions for further improvement and effective application of communication and information technologies in the units.
