Azerbaijan participates in NATO-linked military exercise in Serbia

Azerbaijan is taking part in NATO-Linked military exercise Platinum Wolf 2026 in Serbia at military training grounds near the town of Bujanovac.

The 11th edition of the international tactical exercise organised by the Serbian Armed Forces with support from the US European Command is taking place from June 1 to 13, Caliber.Az reports, citing Serbia’s Defence Ministry.

It said more than 550 military personnel from Serbia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, North Macedonia, the United States, Montenegro, and the United Kingdom are taking part.

The exercises aim to exchange experience and best practices, as well as to enhance training levels and interoperability between the armed forces of partner countries in peacekeeping operations.
