Georgia, Azerbaijan discuss defence cooperation at high-level meeting

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has held a meeting with Azerbaijani Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov in Tbilisi, where the two sides discussed cooperation in the defence sector, the Georgian government administration has stated.

It said the meeting covered issues of bilateral, regional, and international cooperation, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Officials noted that strategic partnership and defence-sector cooperation between the two countries are currently at a high level, and emphasised the importance of peace and stability in the region.
