Azerbaijan’s national interests defended through strong leadership Minister of Economy says

Azerbaijan is rapidly solidifying its role as a key geopolitical bridge between Central Asia and the South Caucasus, significantly contributing to major economic projects in the region. This strategic positioning, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov emphasized, is largely attributed to the visionary leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

Jabbarov conveyed these remarks during a special Cabinet of Ministers session convened in connection with President Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to Washington, Caliber.Az reports.

Minister Jabbarov underlined that Azerbaijan’s elevated regional standing is the direct result of the visionary leadership and resolute defence of national interests by President Ilham Aliyev.

“Our country has achieved this position thanks to the visionary policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, his determination in defending national interests, and his international authority,” Jabbarov stated.

The minister also highlighted the indispensable contribution of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva in securing these historic achievements. He praised her pivotal role in enhancing Azerbaijan’s global stature, effectively communicating the country’s realities to the international community, advancing a peace-oriented agenda, and steadfastly protecting national interests.

“The role of Mehriban Aliyeva in shaping the international authority of our country, promoting the realities about Azerbaijan, advancing the peace agenda, and defending national interests is difficult to overestimate,” Jabbarov emphasized.
