Azerbaijan shares list of Interior Ministry officers martyred in anti-terrorist actions in Garabagh

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan has published a list of employees killed during local anti-terrorist measures in Garabagh on September 19-20.

The ministry's press service told Caliber.Az that 12 servicemen of the Interior Ministry were killed during the anti-terrorist actions.

Following the actions carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on September 19-20, 2023, the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan was fully restored.

Of those 192 military, 180 were servicemen of the Ministry of Defence, 12 were servicemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and one of the killed persons was a civilian.

The identity of 11 persons will be established by forensic medical examination.

During local anti-terrorist measures, 511 servicemen and one civilian were wounded.

High-level teams of professional doctors have been involved in the treatment of the wounded, and all necessary medical measures are being taken.
