Azerbaijan supplies eggs to Russia

Azerbaijan has supplied eggs to Russia.

Azerbaijan supplied 612,000 pieces of eggs to Russia on January 27, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports citing Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor).

“Some 36 tons [612,000 pieces] were imported through the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint for further sale in Russia on January 27,” the message says.

The quality of eggs was checked at the temporary storage warehouse.

“As of January 27, 5.2 million eggs were imported to Russia from Azerbaijan,” the message says.

Azerbaijan began exporting eggs to Russia on December 19, 2023.
