Azerbaijan, UAE cancel visa regime
Citizens of Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UEA) with common passports will be able to visit each other's countries without a visa and stay there for 3 months.
President Ilham Aliyev approved amendments to the "Memorandum of Understanding between the government of Azerbaijan and the government of the United Arab Emirates on the exemption from entry visas for persons with diplomatic and special service passports,” Caliber.Az reports.
According to the changes, the word"diplomatic" in the memorandum was replaced by "general civil, diplomatic and special/official".
That is, if earlier visa-free entry only applied to persons with diplomatic and special / service passports, then after the change, it will also apply to persons with general passports.
