Azerbaijani Consulate General in Istanbul adresses compatriots living in Türkiye

Azerbaijani Consulate General in Istanbul has addressed the Azerbaijani citizens living and working in Türkiye.

The appeal was published on the diplomatic mission's Facebook page on February 6, according to Report.

"Azerbaijani citizens affected by the earthquake in Kahramanmaras [city] and adjacent regions of Türkiye, or who have information about them, are asked to contact the Consulate General’s hotline at +90 536 613 86 48," the statement said.

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Türkiye on the morning of February 6, killing 284 people. As many as 2,323 people were injured, and 1,710 people remained under the rubble.
