Azerbaijan, Uganda explore deeper political, economic cooperation Photo
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held talks with Uganda’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, John Mulimba, on August 27, focusing on enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
The discussions covered political, trade and economic, energy, and humanitarian aspects of bilateral relations, as well as collaboration within regional and international organisations, including the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the African Union, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
Regional issues were also on the agenda.
Both sides exchanged congratulations on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Uganda and expressed satisfaction at the broad prospects for developing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
