Azerbaijani FM recalls on humanitarian assistance provided to Pakistan, Ukraine in 2022

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayamov noted that Azerbaijan has provided humanitarian assistance to several countries in 2022 in his speech at the end-of-the-year conference of the ministry on December 27.

According to Report, assistance was provided to Pakistan and Ukraine this year, with help valued at over 30 million manats given to Kyiv.

Minister Bayramov noted, that over 16,000 Azerbaijani citizens have been evacuated this year from Ukraine.

Baku has assisted Pakistan in battling the consequences of the disastrous flooding and landslides that started in June and lasted over several months. Buildings and infrastructure has been destroyed as a result with thousands of lives lost to the natural catastrophe.
