Azerbaijani national football team arrives in Stockholm for UEFA qualifying round

The Azerbaijani national football team, which is to face Sweden in the UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying round, has arrived in Stockholm.

According to Chairman of the Swedish Azerbaijanis Congress Emil Mirzayev, the Azerbaijan Football Federation Association (AFFA) management and head coach of the national team have been met in the Swedish capital by the Azerbaijani Ambassador in Sweden Zaur Ahmadov and Azerbaijani diaspora representatives, Report informs.

During the meeting, the ambassador wished success to the Azerbaijani national team in the game against Sweden and other matches.

The match to be held on March 27 at Friends Arena in Stockholm will kick off at 22:45 (GMT+4).
