Azerbaijani president’s special rep calls on private sector to create jobs in Lachin

Special Representative of the Azerbaijani president in Lachin District, part of the Eastern Zangezur economic region, Masim Mammadov, has addressed the private sector representatives.

Mammadov made these remarks at the round table discussions on “The role of employment in the sustainable settlement of the population in the territories liberated from occupation: Development of professional skills”, Report informs.

The special representative noted that Lachin District is open for businesses.

“I encourage the private sector to actively create new jobs in Lachin because the issue of people's employment is easier to solve through cooperation between the public and private sectors. We consider this as a long-term social programme. The more productive this cooperation is, the faster the issue of employment of citizens in Lachin District can be resolved,” he said.
