"The 12th Global Baku Forum, organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, has successfully concluded. The Global Baku Forum has established itself as a significant international platform for discussing major global issues," Hajiyev wrote.
He extended his congratulations to Rovshan Muradov, Secretary-General of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, along with the entire team and volunteers, acknowledging their dedication in making the event a success. He further emphasized that the Center, named after the renowned Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi, embodies the values of humanism and intellectual exchange that the poet championed.
The 12th Global Baku Forum, themed “Rethinking the World Order: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities,” took place from March 13 to 15 at the Gulustan Palace in Baku under the patronage of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. President Aliyev personally attended the opening ceremony, underscoring Azerbaijan’s commitment to international dialogue and multilateral cooperation.
Bringing together over 400 high-profile participants—including current and former heads of state and government, Nobel laureates, and key figures from international organisations—the forum served as a crucial platform for debating global governance, geopolitical shifts, climate change, and security challenges.
With Azerbaijan hosting COP29 later last year, discussions also focused on climate action and the transition to sustainable energy, further highlighting the country’s leadership in global initiatives.
