Azerbaijani presidential assistant makes post on January 20 tragedy
Assistant to the Azerbaijani President, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev has made a post on his X account regarding the January 20 tragedy.
“Red carnations became the symbol of Black January 20, resistance and aspiration for independence of Azerbaijani people.
Ironically, former USSR leader Mikhail Gorbachov, who ordered a massacre of innocent civilians in Baku, was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize a couple of months later in 1990,” Hajiyev posted, Caliber.Az reports.
