Azerbaijan, Dominican Republic vow to boost relations across key sectors

On August 20, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Dominican Republic Ruslan Rzayev presented his credentials to the country’s President, Luis Abinader.

According to a statement from Azerbaijan’s diplomatic mission, quoted by domestic media, during the official meeting, Ambassador Rzayev conveyed greetings from President Ilham Aliyev to the Dominican head of state.

President Abinader expressed gratitude for the warm message from President Aliyev and, in turn, asked the ambassador to relay his own greetings to the President of Azerbaijan.

The meeting emphasised the significant potential for enhancing cooperation between the two countries across various sectors.

Both sides underscored the importance of maintaining close collaboration within international organisations and exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest.
