Azerbaijan to lead way in Turkic states’ intellectual property collaboration

Azerbaijan will host the second congress of heads of intellectual property agencies of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) member countries. 

The decision was announced following the first congress, which took place in Bishkek, per Caliber.Az.

Representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye, along with OTS officials, participated in the inaugural meeting. 

During the congress, delegates discussed the creation of an intellectual property organisation for the Turkic states.

After the event, participants adopted a joint declaration affirming their commitment to enhancing cooperation in the protection and promotion of intellectual property among OTS countries.
