Azerbaijani defence minister offers condolences to Libya after fatal plane crash
Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has expressed his condolences to Libya’s Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, following a deadly aviation accident.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of the Chief of Staff of the Libyan State Armed Forces, Army General Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, whom I personally knew, and other personnel as a result of the crash of the Dassault Falcon 50-type jet, which was returning from an official visit to the Republic of Türkiye, Hasanov wrote in the condolence letter, Caliber.Az reports via the Defence Ministry.
The official shared his prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased, extended his deepest condolences to their families.
The Dassault Falcon 50 jet crashed while returning from an official visit to Türkiye, resulting in the death of Army General Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, four other military officials and three crew members on December 23.
