Baku welcomes Belgrade for talks on defence and regional security PHOTO/VIDEO

A delegation led by Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic visited Azerbaijan on June 14 at the invitation of Azerbaijani Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During the official visit, Minister Hasanov greeted the delegation and expressed satisfaction with their presence in Azerbaijan. He highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Serbia based on strategic partnership, underscoring the importance of enhancing mutual military cooperation.

The meeting featured extensive discussions on the current status and prospects of military, military-technical, and defence-related collaborations between the two countries. Additionally, the talks covered regional security issues and various other matters of mutual interest.
