Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy under attack as Russian MiGs, drones, and missiles strike PHOTO / VIDEO
On the night of November 8, Russia launched another large-scale combined attack on Ukraine, striking multiple regions with drones and missiles.
According to Ukrainian media, explosions were reported in the Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, while emergency power outages were introduced across several parts of the country.

According to monitoring channels, the assault involved waves of attack drones, as well as launches of Kalibr cruise missiles and Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. Twice during the night, Russian MiG aircraft were also detected in the air.
Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy confirmed that the country’s energy infrastructure was among the primary targets.
Emergency power shutdowns were introduced in Kyiv and several regions, including the Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions. Blackout schedules are currently not in effect.
Additional outages were reported in Sumy, and Kharkivoblenergo announced emergency blackouts to prevent overloading of the power grid following the shelling.
In Dnipro, one of the Russian drones struck a high-rise residential building, damaging several apartments and causing a fire.
Preliminary reports indicate that one person was killed and ten others were injured, including two children. Emergency workers rescued 28 residents, among them five children, from the damaged building.
