Envoy describes Iran, Azerbaijan, Russia as backbone of "North-South" corridor
Iran's ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyed Abbas Mousavi has said that Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia form the backbone of the North-South corridor.
“Iran, the Republic of Azerbaijan and Russia form the backbone of the North-South International Corridor. The tripartite Memorandum of Understanding signed today for the facilitation of transit indicates a breakthrough in the country's foreign trade. The joining of India to this mechanism will cause the development of this significant road," Mousavi wrote on his Twitter page, on August 22.
