Envoy: Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations improving PHOTO
Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz relations are developing in an ascending line.
Kyrgyz Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliyev made the remarks during his trip to Ganja, Report informs.
During the visit, Ganja city executive head Niyazi Bayramov briefed the guest in detail about the city, its past and present, culture and economy.
Expressing satisfaction with his stay in Ganja, Osmonaliyev informed Bayramov about the purpose of his trip and said that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are developing in an ascending line. The ambassador expressed interest in establishing relations between the Kyrgyz city of Osh and Ganja in the field of science, education, culture and other fields, as well as in signing a protocol on twinning between the two cities.
The ambassador visited part of Ganja destroyed as a result of rocket fire by the Armenian armed forces, where he laid flowers at the memorial plaque. The guest was informed about the repeated shelling of Ganja by the Armenian armed forces during the 44-day Patriotic War, as a result of which 26 civilians were killed and 142 were injured.
