Erdoğan calls for stronger, unified action among Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the importance of cooperation among Turkic states in his remarks following a meeting of the foreign, economy, and transport ministers of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan in Ankara.
Erdoğan made these comments after a Cabinet meeting, highlighting that the Turkic world places great importance on the principle of unity in all areas, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
He also expressed hope for the continued strengthening of partnerships between the nations.
To recap, the second Türkiye-Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan trilateral meeting, held in Ankara on January 29, concluded successfully with high-ranking officials from the three nations in attendance. Foreign ministers, along with ministers for trade, economy, and transport, participated in discussions to strengthen bilateral and regional ties.
The focus was on enhancing foreign policy coordination, boosting trade, economic relations, and investment, as well as improving regional transport links. The event also aimed at fostering greater collaboration in the transport and communications sectors.
At the conclusion, the parties signed the Ankara Declaration and approved a joint Action Plan, outlining a roadmap for future cooperation.
