Erdogan sees national defence industry as pride of entire Türkiye VIDEO

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stressed the importance of developing the domestic military-industrial complex and recalled one of the founders of the country's defence industry, Nuli Killigile.

The head of state shared a video about this on his Twitter page, Caliber.Az reports.

"We have realised the dreams of the Turkish defence industry founders - Vecihi Hurkus, Selahattin Resit Alan, Nuri Demirdag and Nuri Killigil, bringing the level of import substitution in the defence sector to 80 per cent. This is the pride of our whole country. Türkiye Centenary!" the president tweeted.
