Erdogan: Türkiye seeks to build on success in defence industry

Türkiye intends to extend the success achieved in the field of UAV production to missiles, ships, armoured vehicles, cameras, air defence and electronic warfare systems.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the statement while speaking at the Innova-League Champions Awards ceremony in Istanbul, Anadolu reported.

Speaking about the country's achievements in the economic sphere, he said that as of October, the annual volume of Turkish exports hit $254.8 billion.

The head of state also touched on Israel's aggression in the Gaza Strip. "Türkiye has never in its history tolerated oppression or participated in genocide and exploitation, unlike those who today remain silent in the face of Israeli atrocities," the Turkish leader said.
