EU's observatory mission conducts surveillance of Azerbaijani territories at Gubadli border points PHOTOS
Representatives of the European Union's observation mission in Armenia are continuing to monitor the border areas with Azerbaijan.
Members of the EU Mission in Armenia (EUMA) have been conducting surveillance tasks in the border area with the Azerbaijani district of Gubadli on February 13, Caliber.Az reports citing APA.
Azerbaijani border guards, which are observing and registering the European mission's movements, have recorded their use of binoculars to survey the surrounding area and Azerbaijani territory.
EUMA regularly monitors the border with Azerbaijan with information and footage relating to their activity being distributed in the Azerbaijani press.
APA has previously published information and footage on the European observers' activities at other points along the border.
As Caliber.Az recalls, the mandate for the observatory mission, which consists of 200 international and local personnel, has been extended for another two years to last until February 19, 2027. It was launched by the decision of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on 20 February 2023 in response to an official request by the Armenian authorities.
