EU top diplomat urges South Korea to enhance support for Ukraine
During his visit to South Korea on November 4, Josep Borrell, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, addressed concerns regarding the potential deployment of North Korean troops in Russia.
He urged Seoul to bolster its support for Ukraine amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions, Caliber.Az reports.
Borrell shared updates from his trip on social media platform X, highlighting his discussions with South Korea's defence minister. The talks focused on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and various shared security challenges in the region.
I met Defence Minister Kim Yong Hyun on DPRK & other common security challenges. Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is an existential threat. The Republic of Korea is best positioned to understand it.
