European Council labels so-called "elections" in Garabagh as illegitimate
Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejcinovic Buric has said that so-called "presidential elections" in Garabagh have no legal grounds.
“So-called ‘presidential elections’ in Khankandi/Stepanakert have no legal ground. Humanitarian situation in the region and respect for international standards are key. The Council of Europe calls on all sides to de-escalate tensions, engage in a dialogue, restore peace. The Council of Europe ready to support,” she said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Buric’s post on social network X.
