Forensic investigation identifies 15 people from discovered mass grave in Shusha

Following the discovery of a mass burial site in Shusha, a list of missing people identified so far has been made public. 

As reported by APA, referring to Ismayil Akhundov, the Head of a Commission under the State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, reported on this during a briefing on this development.

According to him, the fate of 15 people that went missing in the course of the First Karabakh War (1988-1994) has now become known. "Compared to the 4,000 missing people, this number is small, but it is only the beginning. The process continues. 11 of them are military, 4 are civilians", Akhundov disclosed.

The following is the list of identified missing people, discovered to have been buried at the mass grave:

Ibrahimov Valiaddin Sehleb oghlu
Abdullayev Nurali Hajibaba oghlu
Gurbanov Nofel Nariman oghlu
Rustamov Araz Baghir oghlu
Abbasov Magerram Abbas oghlu
Niftaliyev Adil Kamal oghlu
Garayev Gafar Ganbar oghlu
Huseynov Ali Heydar oghlu
Huseynov Gulverdi Aghahuseyn oghlu
Mikayilov Baba Balakishi oghlu
Isayeva Sanam Hasan gizi
Azizov Yusif Ismayil oghlu
Musayev Mehman Kamal oghlu
Allahverdiyev Shamsaddin Awaz oghlu
Mamedov Assad Mamed oghlu

Akhundov noted, that out of the 15 identified people, 7 went missing in the village of Dashalty, 4 in the Kalbajar district and 4 in the Fuzuli district, with three of them having been identified in a short time.
