Gendarmerie commandos carry out Operation Kahramanlar-44 in Türkiye VIDEO
Operation Kahramanlar-44 (Heroes) is being conducted in seven provinces of Türkiye to prevent the PKK terrorist organization from gaining a foothold in the countryside during the winter months.
Operation Kahramanlar-44 was conducted in Bingöl, Hatay, Siirt, Şırnak, Giresun, Diyarbakır and Tunceli to prevent the PKK terrorist organization from structuring in rural areas during the winter months, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote on his social media page X, Caliber.Az reports.

The operation utilized gendarmerie unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and ATAK helicopters and involved 72 teams of 981 men under the direction of the Gendarmerie General Command.
During the operation, 18 terrorist hideouts were destroyed and large quantities of weapons, ammunition and explosive devices were seized.
