Georgian Health Ministry reports hospitalisation of 21 police officers

The Georgian Ministry of Health has reported that six demonstrators and 21 police officers were hospitalised following clashes near the Presidential Palace in Tbilisi.
“The injured were hospitalised with various traumas,” the ministry said in a statement, as reported by NewsGeorgia.
Some of the injured have already been discharged from hospitals, while others remain under medical care.
The condition of one of the hospitalised law enforcement officers is serious. The Ingorokva Clinic reported that he sustained a traumatic brain injury and a comminuted fracture of the temporal bone.
In addition, according to the Health Ministry, around 30 people received medical assistance on the spot and did not require hospitalisation.
