Georgian security service prevents ordered killing of Israeli citizen The tracks lead to Iran
The Georgian State Security Services reports on having detained a group of people planning the murder of an Israeli citizen in the country.
According to Gruziya Online, among the detained are people holding dual citizenship of Georgia and Iran, as well as citizens of Pakistan.
Georgian intelligence has further identified the client of the murder, an Iranian citizen, as well as other participants who all reside abroad. "They are the subject of complex operational and search measures", the state service said.
The results of the investigation indicate that a Pakistani citizen had come to Georgia to kill an Israeli citizen inside the country and received the necessary briefing on his location. The detained people who hold dual-citizenship were providing him with weapons.
