Notably, on June 5, 2024, TABIB's Executive Director, Vugar Gurbanov signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Germany's Sana Hospital Group to enhance cooperation. The agreement was also endorsed by Thomas Falk, CEO of Falk Beratung, and Sven Heininger, Director of International Affairs at Sana.
The agreement aims to facilitate the exchange of best practices in hospital management at Yeni Klinika in Baku, enhance the attraction of international patients, conduct joint clinical trials, and provide mutual professional development opportunities for medical staff.
The collaboration also focuses on obtaining ISO 9001 and/or JCI International certifications, developing training standards for healthcare professionals, and implementing specialist exchanges to improve medical services.
Overall, the partnership is set to align the medical services at Yeni Klinika with international standards, boost medical tourism in Azerbaijan, and introduce innovative solutions and digitalisation in healthcare.
